Great tool, makes cleaning my sensor a lot easier April 15, 2010 Richard C. Drew (Oak Lawn, IL USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I've been cleaning my camera sensor for years, using blowers, sticky pads, pec-pads, static brush and all the other assorted tools. Usually it's blower, check sensor, brush, check sensor, sticky-pad, check sensor, pec-pad, check sensor, pec-pad, check sensor. Repeat. Checking the sensor involved a penlight in one hand and squinting at the sensor.
The loupe makes the "checking" part a lot easier. I still try the "blower" part first, but then move on to the sensor pen.
The batteries were tough to install. It uses several "button" batteries, so battery replacement will be expensive. BUT it did include two sets. Probably enough for a year or more.
It's a great addition to my cleaning arsenal.
This What YOU NEED September 7, 2009 A. P. Darnell (Texas) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
you have to use this product to actually SEE the particals on the sensor .. no guess work and going back again to clean sensor again and again till your blue in the face ... use with any blower and sensor pen and get it done right the first time .. great product ..
This is an excellent tool September 3, 2009 Robert A. Honiker Jr. (St John's County, Florida) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you ever change lenses, sooner or later you'll get dust on the sensor. The sensor loupe makes it easy to see any dust particles, and the pen tip picks up the dust with no damage to the sensor. Many cameras now have self cleaning systems but these are limited in effect. A clean sensor is vital to good photos.

This does the job for cleaning my sensor. I wish they would include more swabs. I would have paid more to save the hassle of ordering more of them.
LensPen SensorKlear Loupe Kit w/SensorKlear II June 28, 2009 Binh Pham (california) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
The product works good. I've not used other products, therefore, cannot compare, but the Loupe lets me see the dusts on the sensor and I used that plus the LensPen to clean my 1DS MK3 without having to use the Coper Hills wet clean kit yet. However, the lensPen probably left some kind of debris on the sensor which I used the Giottos Rocket Air to blow them away and everything is clean (note: I did use the rocket air to blow all dusts first even before I used the LensPen). Only used this one, so let see what the next cleaning would leave the same residues and I'll update this review.
